This Old House Season 44
Fresh off a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 49th Annual Daytime Emmy® Awards on June 18th, This Old House returns for its 44th season. The show will kick off with a new project in South Atlanta located in one of the last neighborhoods to go through urban renewal. The 1890s Victorian once belonged to Luther Judson Price, the first black postmaster general in Atlanta and a prominent figure in his community for his work with civil rights. The house has a rich history, and the homeowners want to preserve as much of that history and tell its story. Then it’s off to Ipswich, MA for a First Period house that had been owned by a Revolutionary war officer. The team will also head to Newburyport, MA and meet up with some old friends to help with a home that was originally built to house the local shipbuilders.
Ask This Old House Season 21
Ask This Old House returns for season 21 with 26 new episodes including chimney repairs, driveway edging, building a compost bin for a classroom, planting a woodland garden, awning installation, gutter repairs, hot water tank replacement and more.
The House That Norm Built
As previously announced, after more than four decades, This Old House’s master carpenter and pioneer of the home improvement television genre, Norm Abram, is officially leaving the show and hanging up his toolbelt. Norm will be sent off in style in this one-hour tribute special, set to air on Monday, October 3rd at 9p.m. ET. The special highlights and chronicles Norm’s incredible 43-year career, featuring classic moments, archived footage, interviews and memories from celebrities, friends, peers and those who worked alongside him.
